Be the first to expand your skills in the new EV-charging training lab
Developed with project partner EVICO, the EV-charging training lab is set to launch this fall. RRCC’s Summer Applegate and EVICO’s founder and CEO Benjamin Lynch discussing next steps in an early phase of the building process.
Electric Vehicle Trainings
Our Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) courses prepare professionals to support the growing EV and charging infrastructure industry. Training covers EVSE regulations, compliance, testing, maintenance, battery safety, and operational best practices. Through online learning, hands-on training, and laboratory experiences, participants develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to support safe, accurate, and compliant EV charging systems and related technologies.
HVAC
We have identified a growing need for qualified HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) technicians across the region. Colorado’s industries rely on accessible, well-aligned training programs to build a talent pipeline that grows in parallel with industry innovation. Our programs present a thoughtful and inclusive approach to fill this gap with free bilingual trainings, stackable certificates, and current cold-climate heat pump skills and everything our workforce needs to prepare for careers in the building decarbonization trades.
Sustainable Water Technologies
With supply shortages on the horizon, water conservation and water efficiency are more vital than ever to continue preserving such a precious resource. Programs include Hands-on workshops that empower participants to build a graywater system using water from their clothes washer to irrigate outdoor landscaping (L2L or Laundry-to-Landscape), courses covering the policies and concepts required to install graywater systems in the Denver area, as well as best practices for stormwater management and certification options for becoming a Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper (QWEL).
