    Design Your Own Graywater System: Conserve Water, Sustain the Future

    Get hands-on with sustainable living in this dynamic workshop focused on designing and building a residential laundry-to-landscape (L2L) graywater system, fully compliant with Denver and Colorado regulations. With water shortages looming, there has never been a better time to take action and turn your home into a model of water efficiency.

    Perfect for single-family homeowners, this course walks you through everything you need to know to safely and effectively redirect laundry water to nourish your landscape. You will learn:

    • Colorado graywater codes and L2L system regulations

    • How to estimate your graywater supply

    • Sizing and designing your distribution system

    • Choosing the right plants for graywater irrigation

    • Plumbing your washer to divert water outdoors

    Red Rocks Community College is proud to be a QWEL Professional Certifying Organization (PCO), an EPA WaterSense program partner promoting smart water use and sustainable water practices.

    This four-hour course has a $25 base fee, refunded for Denver residents, thanks to support from the Denver Department of Public Health & Environment and the Colorado Water Conservation Board. Successful participants will earn a Red Rocks certificate of completion, and this class is eligible for  QWEL Certification continuing education units (CEUs).
