Art Appreciation   

Discover how art reflects cultures, ideas, and human experiences across time and around the world. This introductory course explores the visual arts through the study of painting, sculpture, architecture, photography, and other artistic media. Students will learn to recognize the elements and principles of design while developing the skills to analyze, interpret, and appreciate works of art from a variety of historical periods and cultural traditions. 

Through discussion, observation, and critical analysis, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the creative process and the role of art in shaping society, communication, and personal expression.
