Addresses the requirements necessary to perform at the second level of progression as identified in National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1010 Firefighter Professional Qualifications. This course includes lecture and hands-on lab instruction aligned with NFPA 1010 Level II standards, preparing students for advanced firefighting responsibilities including incident command support, technical rescue, fire investigation, and community risk reduction.
This course aligns with workforce development priorities in public safety and supports regional employer demand for certified Firefighter II personnel. The course includes hands-on, competency-based training aligned with NFPA standards and emphasizes job readiness, safety, and real-world application.
