Irrigation Auditor   

This professional certification program is designed for landscape professionals looking to provide high-level water management services. This in-person course covers the full QWEL reference manual, providing you with the skills to design and maintain water-efficient landscapes that meet modern sustainability standards. 

  • Key Topics: Where Denver area water comes from, Sustainable landscape practices, Plants and products for graywater, Sustainable irrigation design, Soil health, Plant water needs, Irrigation system troubleshooting, Irrigation controller programming. 
  • Hands-on Requirement: Participants must perform an irrigation audit to complete certification. 

  • Certification: To earn the QWEL Irrigation Auditor certificate, you must complete the audit and pass the exam.
  • Exam Date: October 1st (In-person). 

Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper (QWEL) training provides education on water efficient and sustainable landscape practices. QWEL is an EPA WaterSense labeled Professional Certification Program. Red Rocks Community College is the Professional Certifying Organization for these courses.  

Note: This registration is for the QWEL Irrigation Auditor certification. To earn the QWEL Graywater certification please register for that course separately.
