QWEL Graywater Certification   

This professional certification program is designed for landscape and irrigation professionals seeking to expand their expertise in on-site water reuse. This in-person course covers the QWEL Graywater reference materials, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills needed to design, install, and maintain safe, code-compliant graywater systems for residential landscapes.

  • Key Topics: Water sources, sustainable landscaping, types of greywater systems, collection plumbing, feild sizing, distribution to lanscape, codes and permitting, future of graywater
  • Hands-on Requirement: Installation of a graywater system

  • Certification: To earn the QWEL Graywater certificate, you must complete the installation and pass the exam.
  • Exam Date: March 13th and October 22nd (In-person).

Note: This registration is for the QWEL Graywater certification. To earn the QWEL Irrigation Auditor certification please register for that course separately. Course fees are subsidized by the Denver Department of Public Health & Environment. Participants who live or work in the City and County of Denver are eligible for a discount.
